About Us

Spokane Specialty Vision was founded by Dr. Melissa Barnhart in 2026 to expand specialty contact lens services in the Spokane area. Dr. Barnhart has been fitting scleral lenses since 2018 and attends continuing education lectures that are tailored to specialty contact lenses every year. Providing customized contacts for irregular corneas is one of her strongest passions in eye care.

At Spokane Specialty Vision, you will receive an initial consultation on the best contact lens for your condition. Dr. Barnhart and her team will then begin the fitting process and order custom lenses for your eyes. Follow-up visits will be scheduled until the fit is complete.
